FUNDRAISERS

Fort Kent Cub Scouts have four fundraisers a year. These fundraisers include popcorn sales which are held in September and delivered in November; a bottle drive in October; a spaghetti feed in April; and a car wash in May.

Popcorn sales and spaghetti feed profits are deposited to scouter funds.  A scouter fund is like a savings account for each participating scout. Scouter funds can be used for expenses such as monthly dues, uniforms, day camps, resident camp, and other scouting outings.

The bottle drive and car wash are used to pay for advancement and awards the scouts earn. These awards and advancements are awarded in November and at the Blue and Gold in April.
